Greases and Gels
Diester High Temperature Greases
Applications:
Ball and roller bearings, cams, slides, gears for appliances, automotive,
business machines, electric motors and instrument applications.
Especially useful where unusual thermal and oxidative stability
are required. 4076SS is
used for continuous casting.
Multi-purpose Greases
Applications: Wide temperature range and long life applications
such as: business machines, gear boxes, gas meters, tools, bearings,
control mechanisms, parking meters, timers, clocks, speedometers,
potentiometers, instruments, counters, motors, appliances, optical
instruments, recorders, sound equipment, etc.
Metal Bearing Microgels
Applications: MicroGel takes impregnating oils to a new level.
Intended for use in the oil reservoir surrounding the bearing, the
MicroGel allows the synthetic impregnating oil suspended in the
gel to migrate into the bearing providing extended bearing life.
MicroGel contains no soap grease thickeners. It is actually a gel
form of the impregnating oil.
The OmniGel series are based on our Omnilube plastic compatible
oils and are intended for use in conjunction with powder metal bearings
that have been impregnated with these same oils. The first number
in the name refers to the Omnilube base oil used; the second number
is the NLGI grade. Other MicroGels are available based on our Syntroil
series of powder metal bearing lubricants.
Plastics Compatible Grease
Applications: These multi-purpose PAO based greases are excellent
for use in a wide variety of applications where plastic compatibility
is required. These 100% synthetic base fluid and unique additive
mixes provide for long life, wide temperature range, and excellent
water resistance. Use in sliding bearings, anti-friction bearings,
etc.
Polyolester High Temperature Greases
Applications: Outstanding heat stability. Long life, synthetic
non-melting greases. These greases are superior for high temperature
applications such as: conveyors, ovens, electric motors, appliances,
high temperature processing equipment, etc. Lower cost than silicone
greases, they should be evaluated for use where silicone greases
have been used satisfactorily, as well as those high temperature
applications where petroleum and other synthetic greases fail.
Tacky Grease
Applications: Extremely stable, wide temperature range, extreme
pressure grease for following applications: small gear boxes, open
gears, speedometers, push-pull and rotating cables, cams, slides,
bearings and other applications where excellent oxidation stability
and anti-wear properties are required. Built-in tackiness prevents
noise and vibration.
