Omnilube 850
Applications
Omnilube? 550 and 850 are heavier versions of our other Omnilubes. Compatible with a wide variety of plastics, they are designed for use in powder metal sleeve bearings, felts, wicks, and gears that require a more vicous fluid than Omnilube 100, 300, or 350. Omnilube 550 is also available with the addition of a colloidal graphite, which has been milled to an average particle size of 0.5 microns. This version, known as Omnilube 550G, helps eliminate dry start-ups, chirping or squeaking at low temperatures, and reduces wear in high wear applications. Omnilube 850 is not available with graphite.
